The Massachusetts Education Leadership Association (MSELA) was formed in 1968 to develop science education leadership for K-16 school systems.


About Our Organization

  • MSELA members have a strong interest in student learning, curriculum design, uses of technology, professional development, assessment, science as inquiry, science education reform, and state and national standards and frameworks.

  • MSELA is an affiliate of the National Science Education Leadership Association (NSELA) and is an associated group of the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA).

  • MSELA has over 200 members who hold a variety of science education leadership positions including science department heads, lead teachers, science supervisors and coordinators, university faculty, state science education personnel, members of science education research organizations, and providers of informal science education.
