STEM for All: A Focus on Diversity, Equity, Access, & Inclusion

In preparation for National Engineers Week, the STEM Education Center at WPI offers a free professional development focused on making sure STEM is equitable for all students. This interactive workshop is run in two parts. The morning session is an introduction to diversity and equity in STEM education, building shared understanding on how bias, stereotypes, and other societal factors often exclude certain student identities, making it harder for them to pursue STEM majors and careers.
