The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) is currently looking to hire a Science and Technology/Engineering Content Specialist. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in supporting teachers and administrators in a way that has broad implications across the state.
The Science and Technology/Engineering Education Specialist will develop high-quality, standards-aligned resources, tools, and presentations for use by schools and districts across the Commonwealth. They will conduct analyses to determine school and district needs and to target assistance; facilitate networking activities and meetings across the state; and work with other programs and offices within the Agency to provide PK-12 Science and Technology/Engineering content support. The Specialist will work in the Department’s Center for Instructional Support, and in close collaboration with the Statewide System of Support.
