ESE upcoming Instructional Policy Specialist position

The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) seeks an Instructional Policy Specialist committed to ensuring that all Massachusetts students have meaningful access to challenging, engaging, and coherent learning experiences. The Instructional Policy Specialist will play a key role in realizing DESE's vision for strengthening curriculum in Massachusetts, facilitating teacher-driven reviews of instructional materials, working directly with school and district administrators, and developing policies and resources supporting both preservice and in-service educators. The Instructional Policy Specialist will also be an integral member of the Office of Instructional Policy, which focuses on incubating new initiatives, ensuring coherence across offices, and managing interdisciplinary projects within DESE's Center for Instructional Support.
